Royal Apollonia by Louis Hotels

The staff made this stay special. Restaurant service was first class each day, always with a smile, and the bar staff, especially Anusha, were lovely and hardworking. It was great to see Rafael still working at the hotel, and Florentina in reservations was such a pleasure to see too. She’s a real asset, with a smile that brightens a guest’s day. My room was spacious, beautiful, and clean, and the daily cleaners looked after it brilliantly. I’ve just come home from a fantastic stay and can’t wait to return.

The people here made Christmas at the Royal Apollonia brilliant. Muhammad at reception was an absolute pleasure, so helpful, kind, and friendly. The bar team were fantastic too, remembering our room number and drinks order and checking if we needed anything. Anusha and the lovely smiley chap whose name I’ve forgotten were especially good. Our room had a decent amount of space and storage, and was cleaned daily. The restaurant was clean, the team were genuinely nice and friendly, and there was plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thanks to Zaki, Reda, the two girls, the lady at the front desk, and the lovely chap who told us off for skipping lunch, then made us a pizza on our last lunchtime there. The chocolate mouse cakes at dinner were amazing. A brilliant hotel with brilliant people.

We asked to move because there’s a main road behind the hotel. Diana and Mahmoud couldn’t have done more for us. They brought the key to a beautiful sea view room and were so kind and helpful, genuinely wanting us to have the best holiday. Please pass on our thanks to them. Reception staff were brilliant with bus times, directions, advice, and suggestions. The pool area was clean and tidy, with plenty of space and sunbeds. The pool was nice, though a bit cold in October. The small private beach has sunbeds, and the sea was warm and clean. Breakfast was constantly replenished and had everything I could think of, plus waiter service for tea and coffee. The food was sophisticated and well made. The hotel itself is lovely, peaceful, and has everything you could want, with no pool games or loud music. Limassol wasn’t really to our taste, as it’s very built up with lots of graffiti, though we felt safe walking around. Buses were easy to use, taxis plentiful, and people very polite. We were very happy with our two-night stay at Royal Apollonia. The staff were kind and helpful, breakfast had lots of options, and the rooms were comfortable. The hotel was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely come back.
