S Paul Hotel

Cleanliness matters most to me in a hotel, and I have to say this was one of the cleanest I’ve visited. There’s also car parking, which is important in the city centre where parking can be an issue. The hotel is right in the centre with services nearby and the "molos" just a one-minute walk away. Breakfast has a nice variety, and the staff were very helpful. It suits business travellers as well as couples looking for peace and relaxation. Thank you, and I hope to visit again soon.

The central location comes with a lot of noise. People were shouting outside our window until around 3am, and the single-glazed windows barely kept it out. The rooms were nicely decorated and maintained, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was mediocre; I wish I’d skipped booking it and gone to the coffee shop opposite. Parking facilities are great for this location.

The decoration is magnificent, and there’s spacious parking, right in the city centre and just a few minutes’ walk from the sea promenade. But the parking entrance is a strange setup: with no camera at the gate, the driver has to shuttle between reception and the gate. The receptionist didn’t offer a currency choice when I paid by card. The room smelled terrible. The building and its pipes are old, apparently not well maintained. Breakfast was chaotic, with guests competing for food and everything running out, even milk for cereal. Tables weren’t reset promptly after people left, and the service staff seemed to hate their jobs. The owners and management need to give the place much more attention, including bringing in a new, motivated, friendly service team.

A great boutique hotel in the centre of Old Town Limassol. You can leave your car in the secure parking area when you arrive, then walk to a good choice of restaurants and bars nearby.
