The gated setting at Sunset Gardens made the stay feel calm and secure, and everything was clean and comfortable. When we found the window lock was broken, management sorted it out on the next working day. That quick response was great. I’m giving four stars because there’s still a little room for minor maintenance improvements.

I stay here whenever I visit Limassol. The apartments are roomy and modern, with their own parking spaces, handy access, and lovely outdoor facilities including a 25m pool. It’s a gated community too, so you can enjoy your holiday in privacy. Amazing place!

You’ll need a car here, but I keep coming back anyway. I’ve stayed three times and always choose to return. The apartments, comfort, and facilities are amazing, and the staff really try to help with anything. The complex is clean and well looked after, with huge, clean pools that are great for families, plus an awesome gym and spa. Getting around without a car can be tricky. Not many Bolt drivers come this way, and you can’t walk anywhere from the complex. It’s not in Limassol or close to town, so do your research and get a car to have the best of both worlds. Groceries and takeaway can be delivered, though.

The complex itself is great: well maintained, packed with facilities, and the staff are friendly and try hard to help. If the guest behavior and lack of a walkable route were different, this would easily be 5/5. There’s currently no road you can walk along to reach the city. Even the unpaved country road mentioned before has been completely walled off. Long-term residents also have to deal with tourists who keep finding new ways to bother them. People played soundboxes by the pool until management eventually banned them and lifeguards started enforcing the rule. There have also been parties and loud balcony conversations or phone calls at 2am, joyride motorbikes left in the middle of pedestrian walkways, and cars parked just 30cm from my driver’s door in an otherwise empty lot, leaving me to climb in from the passenger side. Some guests park wherever they like even though every apartment has a dedicated space. The staff do what they can, but it never seems to end. I wish guests were reminded that this is a residential complex where people live, rather than a hotel that exists just for them.

The apartment looked nice, was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely design and a cool pool. But I spent three days stressed, with more problems than enjoyment. Without a car, it felt like a prison. No Bolt drivers would accept rides, there were no grocery stores nearby, and I relied on Wolt takeaways for the whole stay. I tried to contact management for airport transfer advice, but they didn’t answer the phone or emails, and one email address on their website wasn’t valid. Nobody came to clean or check the room, so the tiny bottles of soap and shampoo had to last my entire stay. The route to City of Dreams was dangerous on foot: Google Maps sent me through a man's farm, where there was no passage, then along a busy road without a pavement. Three men stopped to offer me a ride, which felt dangerous as a woman. Someone working at a nearby construction site showed me a hole in the fence as a shortcut instead. The office wouldn’t help and told me to speak to security. The lock someone mentioned also worked strangely. I locked myself in once and spent 15 minutes struggling with the door before I managed to remove the block.
