The lack of TVs in the rooms was something we loved. We could just enjoy the sounds of nature, especially in the mornings. We also had a lovely evening with family and friends, sharing traditional Cypriot food, good wine, music and singing. This was our second stay at Villa Retreat, and it was just as peaceful as we'd hoped. Coming from busy London, it felt like the relaxing break we needed. Toulla and Derek were wonderful hosts and did everything they could to make the stay even better than expected. We left with some really special memories.

We stayed three nights and I loved the place. The rooms were clean and bright, there were flowers everywhere, and the villa felt so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very kind. You can enjoy the view from the roof and look at the stars, take a swim in the beautiful pool, go hiking, or just relax.

It's far from civilization, which made it a great base for exploring Troodos trails, waterfalls and wineries. The host, Ania, knows a lot and helps however she can. The resort is huge and seems thoughtfully planned by an architect couple. There’s a great indoor pool, a spacious, fragrant room, and a wonderful garden with a pond, fish and a frog. I also liked the library room and the roof for watching the stars.

Toulla and her family were warm and friendly. The guesthouse is stunning and really peaceful, with beautiful gardens and grounds kept in perfect condition. It felt just right for a couples' getaway.
