The host left us a cake and breakfast supplies, which was a lovely touch. The open-plan houses are beautiful, vintage in style and fully equipped. Highly recommended!

The cottage was spotless, and the thoughtful details made it easy to relax. Its charming interior and peaceful surroundings create a real sense of calm. Xenios Cottage was a delight, with warm, friendly hosts and a magical atmosphere that blends comfort with tranquility. We can't recommend it enough for a memorable retreat, and we'll definitely be back.

Lofou is a peaceful, lovely village and a great base for exploring the island's south. It was abandoned some decades ago, then rebuilt in the traditional style. Xenios and his wife made us feel so welcome and put a lot of care into hosting. The cottage brings old and new together beautifully, with traditional character and modern comforts like wifi, a dishwasher and a washing machine. It was thoughtfully equipped with everything a traveller might need, and then some. The fridge was generously stocked for breakfast, including delicious homemade cake. Xenios checked in with us daily and was ready to help whenever needed. He even took us for a memorable walk around the village. His hospitality was outstanding, and we enjoyed every moment. If we return to the island, we'll come back. We found friendship, wonderful people and more than one reason to visit again. A perfect host and hostess in a perfect village. Absolutely recommendable.

We loved the patio for evening wine and morning coffee, and the place was comfortable, charming and immaculately clean. It felt like an authentic village home in Cyprus, exactly what we wanted. Xenios treated us to cold cuts, bread, wine, coffee and teas, and his wife even baked a cake. He also gave us a personal tour of beautiful Lofou village, sharing local history and insights. Wonderful hosts, highly recommended! Lofou is special for more than its charm and photogenic feel. The village has made a comeback since the '60s and '70s, and its history and legacies are kept alive and appreciated. Well worth a visit, and definitely stay at Xenios Cottages if you do.
