Homestay room with en suite private bathroom

The host was warm and friendly, always willing to help with whatever I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and just as described, and the convenient, quiet location was great for relaxing. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily return or recommend it.

The 20-minute bus ride to UCY New Campus and walkable city center made getting around easy. I spent four months at Andy's place while studying there, and from the start he made me feel at home, along with his four lovely cats. We often cooked together, and he was always inviting guests along for things like hiking, padel, or walks. Andy's a very social, welcoming host who makes the house feel cozy. I felt more like part of the family than a guest. Couldn't have asked for a better stay, and I'd highly recommend it.

The four friendly cats were a real plus for us as animal lovers, and co-living was easy with Andy's clear, sensible rules that kept the place clean and tidy. Over our three months in Cyprus, his local knowledge helped us put together a great plan for seeing well-known spots and hidden gems. He was wise, helpful, and friendly, and we even went on a few easy hikes together. From day one, he welcomed us like family. We had an unforgettable time and are already looking forward to coming back and staying with Andy again.

The place was very clean and the WiFi worked well. What bothered me was the extra 5 Euro charge to use the air conditioning, especially in a hot place like Nicosia. Since the units are already in the rooms, I think using them should be included in the price. It feels as if access to the facilities is being limited just to keep the base rate low. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear almost everything in the next room.
