We'd arranged the room by phone the previous morning and made the payment the same way. We were clear that our flight would get us in around 10pm, but it was delayed, so we reached the hotel later than planned. The receptionist looked surprised to see us. He spoke only English, which seemed ironic in a Turkish-speaking country, and after making us wait more than half an hour, he spoke to the owner. It turned out our room wasn't ready at all. Then he tried to clean it himself while we waited. By 1am, there still wasn't a room for us. We found the receptionist, saw what state it was in, and said we'd had enough. We'd been travelling since the early hours from Turkiye, were exhausted, and desperately needed sleep. We had to get back into our rental car and hunt for another hotel. At that hour it was nearly impossible, and none of the hotels we called answered. The whole thing displaced us in the early hours and ruined the start of our holiday. The management was disgraceful. I should have paid attention to the bad reviews before booking. Please stay away.

The next morning we had no electricity or water, and even before that the Wi-Fi barely reached our room. During our short stay, staff tried to come into the room twice and called us several times. They only stopped when we went to reception to complain. We had first been given a room with rubbish, unmade beds, and a filthy bathroom. After we objected, they moved us, but there weren't enough towels or soap. At check-in, there was also an uncomfortable attempt to charge us again, even though our online reservation was already paid. They said their accounts had changed. The lobby had a group of young boys playing board games around the clock, with one seeming to be in charge, which felt odd. This was an awful hotel experience in Nicosia. I can't recommend it, and hope others take this as a warning.

Great spot, but the place needs better upkeep. Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The bedroom air conditioning barely worked, and there wasn't any in the living room. We also got a parking ticket for being on the wrong side, even though we'd checked with the front desk before parking there.

The view was magnificent, and I felt as free as a bird. I went with friends, and we had a lot of fun. I love this hotel and will go again.
