Hera Kyrenia Gardens Villa

I’ve raised my rating from one star to three because the hosts replied to my comments. They were friendly, so I assume they took the criticism seriously and acted on it. A few photos to back up their statements would be helpful. The place has plenty of potential, but during our stay it fell short. The floors were dirty and sticky, so we cleaned them ourselves, and the garden and grounds were neglected. Heating didn’t work for several days, and the WiFi was out for the first four days, leaving us cut off from the EU. Several cats, possibly street cats, bothered us. We hadn’t asked for animals during the rental, and certainly hadn’t asked to feed them. The poolside furniture was dated or rusty, with other old furniture left in the garden, which was generally poorly maintained. I also felt standards for cleanliness and tidiness were much higher in South Cyprus than in the North. Make of that what you will.
