The rooms are well equipped, though a microwave would be useful. The pool area is kept clean and gets plenty of sun for lounging. It's a friendly, family run place, with good food and nightly entertainment at friends bar downstairs. The bar stays open until around midnight, so bring ear plugs if you want an early night. You're close to two large supermarkets, the small beaches, and the harbour. WiFi is free. Really good location, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

Seven days just wasn't long enough. The breakfast was very good, and the rooms were clean, with fresh towels and daily cleaning. The place is really friendly. Conner was brilliant and very funny with the evening entertainment, while George was funny, kind, and helpful. It's a 10/10 from me. Jan & Jan

It's a cheap place to stay, and could suit you if you're here to party. But be ready for a very loud night. Entertainment at friends bar carries on late, and nearby venues add even more music. I couldn't get a decent night's sleep until 3-4am. Some guests also got drunk and made noise in the hotel corridors late at night. The rooms are very basic, with only a basic tidy up, not the cleaning you'd get in a 5* hotel. The bar's menu is okay, but priced for tourists, so it's not cheap. The system feels at least 20 years out of date: traditional keys, air conditioning costs 6 euros per day, the deposit safe is 3 euros per day, and every TV channel is in Greek.

The one thing going for this hotel is its location, right on the front of paphos and a five-minute walk from the area. The meal we had at friends bar was quite good, and the staff seemed polite, but I never felt welcomed. I really don't understand its 3 star rating. We arrived around 9pm to a busy, noisy bar, which you have to walk through to reach reception. The entertainment heckled us as we passed. A Scottish gentleman at reception seemed friendly enough and took us to the bottom of the stairs to our room, then left us there. The room was tatty and needed a lot of work. Towels were threadbare, the flooring in the main living area and bedroom was broken or dirty, and the kitchenette was very basic. The bathroom seemed relatively new, clean, and tidy. There's no hair dryer, and air conditioning and the safe both cost extra. We hadn't realised that Jet2's “close to nightlife” meant next to a nightclub. It runs roughly from 10pm to 5am, with loud music from several nearby bars too. The hotel bar also has loud entertainment late into the night, so this is a bad choice for a chilled, relaxing holiday. The towels and bedding weren't changed as expected. After four nights we still had no clean ones, so I went to reception. The woman there was nice and said they should have been changed every three nights, confirming it hadn't been done. The cleaners had been hanging our towels on the balcony. A cleaner came a few minutes later, apologised, said someone was off sick and she had too much to do, then replaced the towels and left. On day five we came back to fresh bedding, and that was all we got during the week. I wasn't planning to use the pool in November, but when I first saw it, it was so green I was 99% sure I'd die getting in. The loungers looked in poor condition, and the umbrellas were off. To reach the pool you have to cross the car park, as it's tucked into a tiny back corner, the strangest pool placement I've seen. At some point during the week it seemed to get cleaned, and there looked to be a little improvement. Our room had no proper balcony or view. We were in room 101 block D, with a glazed window looking nowhere and a side window facing a brick wall. The so-called patio was only good for smoking. The air conditioning wasn't enough to cool the room, which was unbearably hot, and there were no extra fans. The TV had no signal, and loud music could be heard from our room. The manager greeted us with “Welcome to Fawlty Towers” and later said “this is the last time I am being nice to you” when I was struggling to carry my suitcase upstairs. That was unprofessional and made us feel deeply unwelcome. We stayed one night, ten hours in total, and even that was too long. By 6am the next day I'd found somewhere else to stay. We had to move to have a decent holiday. I wasn't going to spend my hard-earned money and time here. This was part of a package deal, but I can't recommend this place. One star is already too many, avoid it like the plague. Update: easyJet gave us no assistance, so I had to pay out of pocket. An absolutely awful experience. BEWARE.

The only reason to choose this place might be that it's part of a package deal, but I wouldn't recommend it. We stayed for one night, about ten hours, and left as soon as we could. I found new accommodation by 6am because we wanted a decent holiday, and I wasn't going to spend my hard-earned money and time here. One star is one too many. Avoid it like the plague. Our room, 101 block D, was nothing like the website's pictures or description for space, cleanliness, or facilities. There was no proper balcony or view, just a glazed window with no view, a side window facing a brick wall, and a patio that was only suitable for smoking. The room was far too hot because the air conditioning was inadequate, and no extra fan was provided. It felt like a sweat torture room. The TV had no signal, and loud music made it hard to rest. The pool looked unhygienic, so we didn't use it. Getting there meant walking through the car park, which is a very strange layout. The manager greeted us with “Welcome to Fawlty Towers” and later told me, “this is the last time I am being nice to you” when I struggled to carry my suitcase upstairs. It was unprofessional and made us feel deeply unwelcome. Update: easyJet offered no help, and I had to pay from my own pocket. An absolutely awful experience. BEWARE.
