Byreva Apartments

The owner was super nice and made sure we had everything. The apartment itself was small but amazing, with soft couches in the living room, a spacious, equipped kitchen, clean toilets and showers with paper rolls and lots of towels, plus a nice terrace. It was very close to the beach and to an amazing Taverna just across the street. Great place for the price. We arrived from the airport, picked up the key and settled in. Very much recommended!

It was good value, and the place is nice and quiet after a long day out. There’s a bus stop outside for getting around, including to the bus station at the Harbour, and they were accommodating about the handover time because our flight was later in the day. The apartment was roomy, very clean and nicely located. We had our own bathroom and bedroom, and air conditioning throughout. In the second bedroom, the lights kept going off and on, and the safe didn’t work. We could have used more written information when we arrived about how to use the equipment. It was lovely hearing all the creatures outside, like crickets.

Modesto, the manager or owner, was warm, welcoming and helpful. We had a big, clean and tidy apartment in a good location, not far from the beach or the port area. I highly recommend it!

We’d happily stay here again if we return to Paphos. It was a great two weeks away from February in the UK. The apartment was clean, well equipped for cooking and good for self catering. The owner met us when we arrived and was very friendly. We found three supermarkets very close by, and there are pubs, bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Embers bar and restaurant is only about 30 paces away and serves breakfast as well as restaurant food. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed having a drink on the balcony in the early evening a few times. Wi-Fi was strong and fast enough to stream UK TV, with only occasional buffering. The TV itself had only a few Greek channels, but we knew that before we set off. I brought my laptop and an HDMI lead to watch Sky Go and some films. We didn’t end up needing the films, and Nord VPN let us use BBC, though there were no BBC channels or iPlayer on the TV. It’s a bit techy, but I’m 65 and managed fine. Since it’s self catering, you’ll need to shop for groceries. There was loo roll and washing up liquid when we arrived. We left some things we’d bought, including washing powder, extra washing up liquid, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper. Not sure if the cleaners will nab them, though.
