The villa’s lack of support during serious problems, along with its poor condition, made the whole holiday stressful. With 13 of us, including three infants, we would have been better off booking several hotel rooms. I can’t recommend this place, especially for families or winter stays. Heating was the biggest issue. The bedroom air-conditioning and heating units didn’t work, and there was no hot water. We contacted the owner, but he said he couldn’t do anything. He offered a portable plug-in heater that smelled burnt, looked unsafe, and had an exposed flame. With small children there, we couldn’t use it, leaving us with no safe way to heat the villa. We asked for a slightly later checkout because of the heating and hot water problems, but were made to pay an extra €70 in cash. That felt unfair. The property was advertised as family-friendly and said to have baby gates, but there weren’t any. The glass staircase and bannister were damaged, a serious hazard for children and adults. Other problems included a dirty pool, no firewood for the fireplace or charcoal for the barbecue, damp towels on arrival, and Wi-Fi so slow it was essentially unusable, so we relied on our own mobile hotspots. The table tennis gear couldn’t be used because the rackets were broken and the net was torn. The iron was faulty, with visible burn marks on its soleplate.

We honestly would have been much better off booking six hotel rooms for our group of 13. The villa’s condition and the owner’s lack of support ruined the trip. I don’t recommend it, especially for families or winter visits. There was no hot water, and the heating didn’t work: none of the bedroom air-conditioning/heating units worked either. We asked the owner to come help, but he said nothing could be done. His proposed plug-in heater smelled burnt, seemed unsafe, and had an open flame. With three infants in the house, we couldn’t use it, so there was no safe heating and the stay was very uncomfortable and stressful. We asked for a little extra time at checkout to make up for these problems, but instead paid €70 in cash. It felt completely unfair. The listing said the property suited families with infants and included baby gates, but there were none. The broken glass staircase and bannister were a serious hazard, especially for the children. The pool was dirty, there was no wood for the fire or coal for the BBQ, and the towels were damp when we arrived. WiFi was unusably slow, so we had to use our own hotspots. The table tennis rackets were broken and the net ripped. The iron didn’t work properly and had burn marks on its soleplate.
