Flokkas Hotel Apartments

Super clean and close to everything you need. Irene, our host, gave us the best service. I’m sure I’ll come back.

This will be my third booking here. I’ve stayed two years in a row already and can’t praise the place enough. The accommodation is fantastic, and the pool is quiet and relaxing. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great location and very peaceful.

I booked two nights and paid a €100 deposit when booking, then another €100 on arrival. After we came back from a meal, we found cockroaches on the kitchen worktop. I fetched the cleaners, who brought a spray. The next day I called the owner to cancel our second night. At first she refused to refund me. She said this was Cyprus and there were cockroaches here, and that many other guests had them too. I live here and know how to keep cockroaches at bay. She accused me of just wanting free accommodation. I said I’d post a review, and she said she didn’t care. Her attitude was appalling. The accommodation was basic and looked clean, and the cleaners were very sweet. I did get the €100 for the second night back, but only because I’d paid in cash. If I’d paid by card, I don’t think she would have refunded it. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Shocking!

We were there in low season, and our room was very spacious. The owner was so kind and helped us with bus advice, then came to our aid when we thought one of our tours might not go ahead. The 711 bus stop from Old Hospital in Larnaca is really close. They also provide generous bathroom products. A wonderful stay.
