Pangeras Apartments

This is always a great place to stay. The family are lovely and friendly, and they're always ready to help.

The best part is the garden, with olive and fig trees all to ourselves, plus lovely sunrises and sunsets and the wind through the trees. There’s also a beautiful pool and a BBQ available. The apartment is in the village center, away from the beach. Inside, the rooms are well laid out, but the place feels neglected. The curtains were stained, the dishes didn’t match, and there was mold in the shower. It was clean, so this isn’t about cleanliness. With a little more care, it could be great. Zoe was very kind and left us a full fridge. When I asked for extra towels, she brought them straight away.

Pangeras is tucked away and has mountain views. From there, it’s under a 45-minute drive to places like Paphos, Limassol, the Troodos Mountains, wine routes, beaches and golf courses. I stayed four days in Pissouri. The apartment was adequate, and the welcome was efficient and generous in some ways. Things had gone well until the morning we left, when Zoé left us without electricity, so we couldn’t make coffee or get hot water. Maybe there was a language misunderstanding.
