Yialos Apartments

What made the stay especially relaxing was how peaceful the apartment was, even though it sits beneath a charming seafood tavern. The tavern served fresh seafood at fair prices, which was handy for an easy meal. Yialos Apartments is right beside Pissouri Beach, so you can hear the waves and be on the sand in seconds. My apartment was roomy, clean and set up well for cooking, with a comfortable bed and a balcony facing the sea. The hosts were welcoming and easy to reach for help or local suggestions. The rate felt reasonable for a beachfront spot like this. It was a comfortable, convenient place with a lovely Cypriot feel, and I’d recommend it for a peaceful beach break.

We spent nine nights here and really enjoyed it. The apartment was cozy and very clean, though a bit dated, with the essentials in the kitchen and the big bonus of a washing machine. It faces the sea, and the beach is a two-minute walk away. The beach was clean and quiet, not crowded, and mostly pebbles, just right for a relaxing day. The view was lovely every time, and breakfast on the terrace was nice. The rooms don’t block sound well: we could hear chairs moving in the restaurant above and children shouting and running. Most evenings this wasn’t much of an issue, since the restaurant closed around 10 pm, but on Saturday the loud noise carried on until 1 am. Staff were friendly and gave us a converter and toilet paper. At first, the instructions were very brief and could have been clearer, but we figured things out. I’d recommend this place if you’re happy with a basic, well-priced apartment in a calm location, with friendly staff and a stunning view.

The house has all the equipment you need, the staff are excellent, and there’s a beautiful beach right in front!

The beach is right nearby, and there’s a decent restaurant upstairs. The ground-floor apartments weren’t very appealing.
