Breakfast was a highlight, and the woman at reception was especially helpful, going out of her way to make us comfortable. It's a decent choice on a budget, though the hotel and particularly the rooms feel dated and could do with renovation. If you're walking back from the village center, expect a steep climb.
The owners pointed me toward the nearby nature trails and the places worth visiting, and the scenery around there is amazing. It's a lovely family-run spot, with tasty homemade food, a cozy room that suits two, and a nice balcony view.
We stayed among the trees and snow, in such a peaceful setting, and felt so much genuine care and hospitality. My two daughters and I had the time of our lives. The owners were so friendly and always ready to help. Everything was clean and tidy, too. I gave the hotel five stars because of that welcoming atmosphere, and anyone looking for somewhere quiet and relaxing should love it here.
Friendly staff and a really warm, cozy room. The shower had hardly any water pressure, though. Just right for a one-night stay.
