Long Beach Resort Hotel

We had an all-inclusive stay at the end of October for two weeks, and there were no complaints. It was warm and relaxing, with great staff, especially considering some of them would be out of work when the place closed in November. The beach location was lovely, and our doors opened onto a beautiful sunrise each morning. We were among the last guests before it was demolished to make room for a high rise casino resort. It was so quiet that at one point there were only us and six other guests, so choosing loungers was easy. We had about 80 to pick from. It's a shame this charming mini villa site by the sea is closing and being demolished.

The beach bungalows were great, and the rooms were clean. We hadn't seen any of the insects people mentioned during our stay. For a similar price, the rooms were much better than places we've had in Spain or Italy. Most staff at reception and the bar were kind and helpful. One young bartender with a tattoo on his leg was unpleasant, always saying “finish” instead of helping. The other bartenders were great. Hi Arman! The hotel is convenient to get around, and there was good value for the price. People say the food gets repetitive, and that can be true, but we enjoyed it and it tasted good. The restaurant still had some unfinished areas that needed more attention. The beach had stones in places, but the sea was beautiful, clean, and almost empty, which I loved. The main beach could use some care, but it wasn't terrible. If you want sand, there's another beach a three-minute walk away. The location around the hotel wasn't very nice, with mostly unfinished buildings and no souvenir shops or attractive spots nearby. The promenade wasn't much to write home about, apart from the little funfair for kids next to the hotel. Friday and Saturday nights were very noisy because of the nearby disco, making it hard to sleep. I could definitely see myself coming back for the value.

Dogukan and Mehmet made us feel welcome throughout the week. They were friendly, helpful, and hardworking, and we're glad we made two good friends during our stay. Their service made a real difference. The food selection was very limited, and the dishes were mediocre. We expected more variety. The beach straight off the hotel was dirty, and getting into the sea there wasn't very good. Just a few meters farther along, though, the water and shore were much cleaner and more pleasant. We spent a week at Long Beach Resort and found the stay more or less satisfying, though the food and beach upkeep need improvement.

The staff were friendly, but we didn't have a great stay. Our room was very basic, the kettle wouldn't switch off, and the bathroom window didn't close properly. On a windy night it blew open. There was a dead fly on the dining table, and the food labeled “international cuisine” was basically beans, fried egg, fish, chips, and cold food.
