Apartmány Brno

The location was great. It takes around 40 minutes to walk to the main square, or about 25 minutes to get to the tall horse at česká. My room was spacious, and the shared bathroom was fine. The toilet doesn't have a tap for washing your hands, though there is one in the wash area. The staff were very nice. One woman spoke English, and I spoke Polish with the other when asking about my luggage. They were happy to keep it while I went to see the city before leaving Brno around 17:30. They even let me take tea after checkout, which I really appreciated.

The room was quiet and comfortable, and good for the price. It's on a residential street, behind a big metal gate. Getting the key was easy, just ring the gate bell. From the center, it's a short tram ride followed by a five-minute walk. The only small annoyance is having to lock the big gate each time you leave or come back. I'd definitely return.

The owner was really nice and helpful, and the rooms and apartments were all pleasant and good value. It's not far from the railway station, with good public transport links. My one comment, and it applies beyond this place too, is that it's still hard to believe a room has just two power sockets. One is taken up by the bedside lamp, leaving only one for a charger, laptop, and tablet.

The room for two had enough space, with two comfortable beds, a big wardrobe, and a dining table. No TV, and the pillows could be better. The shared kitchen has what you'd need to cook, and the bathroom is large and well lit. It's near the city center, with a five-minute public transport ride to the main train station. A nice place to stay.
