I booked one of the three highest-level rooms, 801, for the view and because I expected something extra, but the experience was very poor. Street reconstruction was going on outside the hotel, even on Sunday, with work starting at 7am. We asked at reception during check-in and were told there’d be no early Sunday work, but the noise was disturbing even on the 8th floor. The elevator was also unreliable, a nasty surprise when returning after dinner and facing the climb to the 8th floor. The ventilation was so noisy we had to switch it off. We asked for compensation and are waiting for a response. It’s not about the money, but about fair business. I would have expected a clear notice that the street was being renovated and noise might be higher than usual. Everyone understands the work is done by an independent company, which makes fair communication even more important than misleading guests to keep business.

That terrace view across the city was stunning. The hotel is right in the center, and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was perfect, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Loved staying here.

It felt more like student housing than a regular hotel. The corridors were noisy, and there was no proper sound insulation. The accommodation photos also give a misleading impression. We were assigned a room with the bathroom across the hallway, something that hadn't been clearly explained beforehand.

We found the rooms comfortable and practical, and spent almost a week having a pretty good stay. The hotel is in the heart of Brno, with loads of restaurants nearby and transport connections to get around the city. The staff were kind and very helpful.

The only drawback for us was the lack of hotel parking. There are two parking lots close by, and JD Parking has good prices for longer stays. Everything else was convenient, with restaurants, supermarkets and public transport nearby in the city center. Our room was very clean and cozy.
