BVV Apartment

A beautiful, welcoming apartment, with everything I needed in one place. The price was very good too.

No cleaning at all. Filthy, and there was no heating in winter. Zero stars.

The place was cold and dirty, with no heating or hot water, and the refrigerator hadn’t been emptied. I wouldn’t recommend it even to my enemies.

It’s a shame, because this apartment could be really nice. The old owners clearly cared for it, and it has beautiful lights and, judging from the listing photos, used to be furnished and coordinated nicely. But it’s now so neglected that the state of it is almost disgusting. I wouldn’t hesitate to give it the lowest rating available. The bathroom deserves its own mention. The shower was moldy, wouldn’t close, and sprayed water in every direction. The sink was dirty with soap spilled on it. It wasn’t polished, but that stopped surprising me. In the kitchen, the pipe started spraying everywhere as soon as I turned on the water. It was rusty. The kitchen itself was greasy, there was trash in the bin, and old food had been left by the stove, perhaps as a company treat in case we got hungry. The floor was filthy, with candy wrappers, pebbles, crumbs and shoe marks. Great when you’ve forgotten slippers and have to walk around in socks. There was dust everywhere, so we put the unpacked things in the closet, which was already occupied by other stuff. Under the bed, we found what was probably a bottle from previous guests, rubbish and some hair accessories. I wouldn’t recommend looking there. The sheets had a strong cigarette smoke smell, as if someone had slept in them before us. The mirror with lights was lovely, but dirty. The front door couldn’t be closed without a key. The bedroom door didn’t have a handle, which seemed unsafe. We found the handle lying on the floor next to it. There were four remote controls without batteries, which made us laugh, since we didn’t need a TV anyway. A strange noise in the bedroom stopped after I called the owner and we turned off the flow heater. That heater was rough too, with old, stale socks and other “delicacies” waiting there. There’s also a washing machine, but it was full of laundry, so we couldn’t use it. Reviews we read too late suggest there’s no cleaning service in these apartments.
