Bishop Apartments

This apartment was a huge disappointment. The photos and listed facilities were misleading: I booked eight days with my family for a Brno holiday, relying on the cleanliness rating and Booking.com’s claim that there was AC, but there was no AC when we arrived. There was also no hand wash, only half a toilet roll, and the safe was broken. When we went to bed that night, we found large oil stains on the linen sheets. I had to cancel, but lost 70% of what I’d paid even though I stayed only one night. Travelers, don’t be fooled by the Booking rating. It wasn’t what they said it was.

We absolutely loved our nine-day Christmas season stay in apartment 11 on the 4th floor, overlooking the front circle. The place was spacious, clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The bedroom window faced the cathedral, so sunrise was quite a sight. Check-in and checkout were super easy, and Richard and Tereza were great. We started out with a car and found a lot where parking was easy, about a five-minute walk away, for $20 a day. There isn’t really parking inside the old town, so that worked well. The trams are so frequent and efficient that we didn’t really need the car. I recommend staying here anytime.

The location was great, and this was one of the best places I’ve stayed in Brno. The apartment is huge and has everything you’d need during your stay. Just be aware there’s an additional cleaning fee that isn’t mentioned anywhere.

I stayed at the landmark-view “Petrov Apartment” and found it spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. There was even a guidebook explaining the basics. Amazing place, and I’ll definitely be back!
