Residence Ruth

The owner was a wonderful man, and everyone was helpful. Breakfast was good too. If you’re skiing and renting gear, the shop around the corner may give you a discount if you say Residence Ruth sent you, provided the deal is still active. A hair dryer in the rooms would be handy, but otherwise I can’t fault the place. Great stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone in the area.

Filip was welcoming and resourceful, and the room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The location worked really well for us: the bus stop is within walking distance, and we went to the pec pod the next day. There’s a restaurant and ski rental on the main road, and the aquacentrum is farther down if you fancy a spa.

The communal kitchen was nice, and I liked having a fridge in the room. But noise from the kitchen carried into the room. Ask for a fan, the rooms were baking!!! I’d booked and paid through Booking.com, then on arrival was asked for around £3-5 tourist tax per person and a €50 room deposit. I didn’t have that, so he let me leave 200zł instead. The rooms themselves were nice.

Breakfasts were great! The place is right by the skibus stops, which is handy for ski enthusiasts. Mr. Filip Duda, the host, is a great man: friendly, very helpful, and always up for a quick chat :)
