Hotel Europa

The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet, but breakfast was a real problem for us. We told the hotel two weeks ahead that two of us were vegan and one person was gluten-free, and repeated it at check-in. Almost nothing suited us. The receptionist said she couldn't reach the kitchen staff because they were foreigners who didn't speak Czech or English. That's ridiculous these days. Shops have hummus and plenty of vegan products, or they could simply make a basic sandwich spread.

The reception team were quick to respond, friendly and professional, and the staff were happy to accommodate our special requests. We also liked how quiet the area was, even though the hotel is right in the city center and handy for exploring away from the main tourist crowds. Breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. We were very satisfied and would recommend staying here.

The lobby at reception looked a little cluttered at first, and I might have expected an average hotel. That impression didn't last: everything was meticulously cared for. As a frequent traveler, I was especially impressed by the unusually varied, high-quality breakfast and the pleasant dining area. There was private parking too. Kudos to the management.

It's a quiet, charming and budget-friendly place near the center of Brno. The tree-lined street is lovely for a peaceful walk, and the city center is only a short way off. Right next door there's a cozy bar for a drink and a quiet chat in the evening. Our room was clean, roomy enough, and had nice street-facing windows. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout.
