We stayed two nights and had a nice, clean room with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location, and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a room in Brno.

I’ve been to Prague plenty of times, but this was my first visit to Brno. I came here twice to eat and drink, though I didn’t stay at the hotel. The food was good, if not amazing, while the beer was the real highlight: the Lager was fantastic, and I also really liked the Christmas Porter and their "Gold" beer. I speak only English and the staff treated me very well, as did the locals who joined me at my table. It was nearly impossible to find a seat at 5:00 PM on a Saturday, so go early or book ahead.

This is a clean, pleasant hotel with an old-fashioned feel, and the staff are very friendly. Meals are served downstairs. Parking can be awkward: when the hotel lot is full, you need to park elsewhere, which costs 360 koron a day.

From my November 2018 visit: this feels like a safe tourist trap. There are plenty of locals despite the central location, and the beer is very good at a reasonable price. The food, though, is poor value, so I’d come for a few beers rather than a meal. If you’re in a big group, keep an eye on the bill. Last time we were charged for three more beers than we’d had.
