Wake Up Wellness Hostel by goodnite cz

Check-in online went smoothly, and the receptionist replied quickly to my messages. The hostel is also just a two-minute walk from the train station. Still, I can’t recommend staying here. When I arrived, two men who seemed homeless were drinking in the café area and talking loudly, which made the place feel really uncomfortable. My room smelled strongly of mold, and there were no towels. The shower room had no soap, shampoo, or anything else. It was a very disappointing stay, honestly a nightmare for me.

The customer service was friendly and quick to respond, but nobody fixed my bed, which was by far the squeakiest of the seven in the room. Otherwise, it’s a decent place. There’s body gel in the shower, narrow private lockers, and a little shared kitchen area with a kettle and microwave.

The location was pretty central, but I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. The check-in emails had incorrect information, and it took us ages to get into our rooms. Once someone finally contacted us, we found a terrible smell, hair on our sheets, and a man in the room who made us uncomfortable. There wasn’t any staff physically present, even during the day.

We chose this place because it was near both the train station and the city centre, which seemed convenient. Instead, the accommodation’s systems, cleanliness, and security left us extremely disappointed. The room and blankets smelled awful. We booked through Booking.com, and in the end we had to pay for another place because we couldn’t put up with the smell. A mistake we won’t forget.
