The nature reserve starts at Mazurova Chalupa, and it protects forest moor meadows about 1.5 km north of Hoděšovice, where endangered plants grow. It's also a handy stop in the city forests: we can sit down for a beer while the kids play on the little playground.

We make this our stop on the annual bike ride. The grounds are nicely kept, with outdoor tables, a playground, a beer stand and snacks.

We were looking forward to a cold beer, and the place looked lovely, but it was shut on Monday even though Google Maps said it was open. That was disappointing, and they should update the listing. Still, it seems like a lovely place for a family outing.
