My grandma had a better room, around a 4/5, but the one we got on the top floor was a real miss. It had no fridge, the mattresses were hard as concrete, the bathroom was broken and kind of dirty, and there wasn't even shampoo or a single decoration. The restaurant prices were pretty high too. It was fine for one night, but I'd have been quite disappointed staying longer. For the price, I expected a lot more. This hotel seems hit or miss.

If you expect nothing, you'll probably be alright, but I wouldn't want to come back. The service felt like nobody really cared, even if they occasionally put on a smile. Towels might get changed, the room might get cleaned, the food might be edible, and they might not run out of your favorite foods an hour into mealtime. You get the picture. I've heard they may turn the hotel into condos in the future, which is probably best for everyone.

Being right in the centre of Celadna made it easy to head out and explore, and I really liked having a swim, sauna, or massage at the hotel in the evening after a long day in the hills. It helped relax my sore muscles. The room was spacious, the staff were pleasant, and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was a tasty open buffet, just right before heading out in the morning. We were too busy outside during the day to try lunch or dinner. I'd come back.

There's a convenience store right opposite, and the area around the hotel is lovely. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast had a great selection. The spa facilities were excellent, especially the pool, sauna, and amazing massage.
