Clarion Congress Hotel Ceske Budejovice

We had a beautiful view of Ceske Budejovice from the 16th floor, and the rooms were perfectly cleaned with comfortable beds. The city was not very far, and there was a large parking area next to the hotel. I booked for my relatives too, and we all look forward to returning soon. We highly recommend the hotel. The wonderful team made a big difference. Victor at reception organized and supported us so well, and Helena, Lucie, and everyone on Mrs. Eliska Pazderova's team were just as helpful, doing their best to fulfill every wish. F&B manager Marek Studenicky was very friendly too, and the attentive waiters and kitchen team treated us to excellent food, especially at the Silvester dinner. Eva Maria Kunz and Willi, Maria and Pepi PS: Maybe you could add more German and Austrian TV programmes.

Being next to IGY made the location convenient. The room itself was a letdown, though. I was on the 8th floor, where the water pressure was so weak that showering properly was difficult. The old press-to-use hair dryer had very little airflow and was awkward to use. I found the shampoo and body wash empty only after I was already in the shower, which was frustrating because I expected them to be replenished before arrival. There was no refrigerator, and the room was very dim, with most of the light coming from a desk lamp. I didn't find the stay comfortable, and it fell short of what I expected.

Breakfast was great, with lots of food, drinks, and desserts to choose from. The staff were welcoming and polite, and the room was clean with a good bathroom. My standard room had a big bed that was super comfortable. I’d recommend it!

Each morning at breakfast, I noticed a man in a cap with a backpack sitting at the table beside the pillar. He put food into a lunch box in his bag, and several times I saw him fill two lunch boxes. I don't know whether the hotel allows this, so please disregard my complaint if it does. If not, please keep an eye on it and take action to protect the hotel's image.
