The tasty breakfast and surprisingly good coffee were a highlight, and the room was clean, warm, and comfortable for the price. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home. I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel CB Royal in České Budějovice. It’s great value for money, and I’d happily come back.

There was plenty of space in the room, and the cooling worked pretty well. It was almost quiet, too. The simple breakfast was filling, the room was clean, the restroom had been renovated recently, and the TV worked well. There were quite a lot of electrical sockets, though a few stopped working temporarily. Without doubt, I think it’s one of the more decent hotels in town.

The good points were the location, about a 10-minute walk from the city centre, the very kind staff, and the renovated bathroom. The rest felt very old. We asked for a double bed or two beds pushed together, but got separate beds, and they didn’t change them when we asked. The beds and pillows were old. The small, old TV had 28 channels, all showing the same program. The only place we could charge our phones was the bathroom, since the other sockets didn’t work. There was no hairdryer.

Clean place, and the people were really kind. It’s close to a shopping mall and nice to stay at.
