A good breakfast, space for lodging and playing on the grounds, and an easy walk to the old city. Great for kids.

The rooms have lovely decor and feel cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty to choose from and eggs made on the spot. It’s a short walk to the centre, and parking at the property is free. Šárka was a great, helpful host. A great place in Krumlov, definitely recommend!

I’d probably choose somewhere else next time, since Cesky Krumlov has plenty of options even at short notice. The breakfast was pleasant, but at 8 Euros it felt far too expensive. After walking around town, it seemed at least twice the usual price, even compared with top hotels in the center. I had agreed to it the day before, but still felt a bit taken advantage of. The room situation also left a bad impression. I was first shown a nice room facing a busy street. Since it was warm and the windows needed to stay open, I asked about a room on the quiet side. The woman helping me spoke neither English nor German, which seemed unusual for this place, but eventually showed me a room at the back. I was happy with it until the owner tried to charge an extra 400 krone for the “upgrade” the next morning. The place gets good reviews and everything seemed fine on the surface, but I wasn’t that impressed.

The manager or owner’s response is very disappointing. They blamed the client instead of taking responsibility for an error by their own employees. I would never return, and I’d advise other potential guests to avoid this hotel. We arrived around 8 pm, and there was no receptionist, so we spoke with her stand-in. We had booked TWO NIGHTS and wanted to pay for both right away. The stand-in said she’d rather we pay the receptionist the next day. After breakfast, before going sightseeing, WE decided to settle the bill. That was when the receptionist told us the hotel was fully booked starting that day and our apartment had been given to someone else. We were very unpleasantly surprised. After the receptionist spoke to the evening stand-in, her colleague admitted she was at fault, and the receptionist acknowledged the error too. She showed us another room, only a quarter of the apartment we had booked FOR TWO NIGHTS. We obviously refused and asked why that backup room couldn’t be offered to their new clients. It’s a lie that I was aggressive or made her cry. It’s also a lie that we used tricks to extend our stay “because we liked the accommodations so much.” The supposed discount is another lie. When we arrived, we asked the price and were told around 83-85 Euros. After she called the receptionist, she said it was 90. We agreed and wanted to pay FOR TWO NIGHTS. The rest is history.
