Hotel OLDINN

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and the location made it easy to explore. I had a lovely stay at Hotel Oldinn. The highlight, though, was the service from Mr. Faruk at reception. He was so friendly and polite, and kept going out of his way to help throughout my stay. He's one of the best receptionists I've met. Highly recommended!

Our room didn't get cleaned at all. We were out and came back after 3:00 PM on both days, and housekeeping still hadn't been by. The TV was another frustration: it was fixed in a bad spot, couldn't swivel, and made the already limited channels almost impossible to watch. Putting it higher on the wall at the end of the bed would make much more sense. The hotel is good value and in a great location, and reception staff were friendly and helpful. But the kitchen waitress wasn't welcoming, and breakfast was poor, with bad coffee and artificial-tasting juice. We'll come back to the lovely town, but likely stay somewhere else next time.

The only real drawback was the TV, which had just one channel and that was in Czech. Otherwise, our room was clean and modern, had good Wi-Fi, and looked out over the main square. The hotel building is around 600 years old, and I was really impressed by its history. It's right on the square and within walking distance of all the sights. Reception service was excellent, especially Milyn, who was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thanks to Milyn for making our stay so enjoyable. We'd definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Faruk at reception made the stay especially pleasant. He was warm and professional, and went out of his way to help with directions and local suggestions. You don't often meet someone so welcoming. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was ideal too, close to restaurants and public transport. I had a wonderful stay!
