Pension Athanor

Our room was spacious and split over two levels, with a TV area and couch upstairs, then four steps down to the beds and bathroom. Rooms vary in shape and size. The building is very old and has been beautifully renovated. The breakfast buffet was smallish but very good quality and more than enough, and they’ll cook eggs and meat to order. The staff were excellent and the place felt like a small family run business, with people who really try to please their guests. There are a few small restaurants within a 10 minute walk, with more across the bridge in the tourist area of the main town. The historic town is beautiful. Finding the entrance in the dark can be tricky, especially if you’re driving to the courtyard parking, so look carefully at the entrance pictures. It’s in a maze of narrow cobblestone streets. There’s a lock box outside for late arrivals, and they communicate well before you get there. You can ask them for help if needed.

We loved the quiet, and the view from the window was lovely. It’s so close to town, with parking too. Thanks for having us, I can’t recommend this place enough.

We love this cute place. The interior is nice, and everything is super clean.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a clean, lovely room that has a bit of Český Krumlov character. There’s a roomy living and dining area, a modern kitchen with a painted ceiling, and a bathroom with a big jacuzzi tub. It really is as nice as it looks in the pictures.
