The guesthouse was clean, but we won’t stay here again, even though we’ll definitely return to Krumlov. We arrived to find out that breakfast wasn’t available because the owner had family problems. Then at 7 am on Saturday, craftsmen woke us up without warning. They even walked past the open bathroom window while we were showering. With them working there, we couldn’t sit on the terrace and have our own coffee either.

The host was lovely, served very good breakfasts, and shared useful advice. Our large room had a bathroom and shower, and the price was affordable. It’s up on a hill, so you have to walk uphill, but the peace and quiet away from the tourist bustle made it worthwhile.

The owner was always happy to help, and the guesthouse was very pleasant. We had a great week!

Our reservation was confirmed yesterday, then cancelled this morning. Great stay, I must say! Update: The hotel says we didn’t book? They confirmed it, then acted as if we hadn’t reserved accommodation. Are you kidding? Confirmation by email and SMS isn’t enough?! If anyone wants to see the communication, feel free to ask me for screenshots.
