We expected a pleasant stay, but several things felt misleading. The price was 6-7% higher than the euro listing. They blamed bank fees, though the whole transaction was in CZK, so I don’t see why accurate prices couldn’t be listed. Our booking confirmation said our toddler could stay free of charge, as shown in the photo, but we only learned on arrival that children weren’t allowed. We were also charged 30 euros to use the sofa in our room. Apparently the usual charge is 60 euros, and this was presented as a special favor. I’ve attached the Whatsapp conversation so you can judge for yourself. We try to be considerate guests, so I’m surprised the experience turned so unpleasant. Think carefully about whether you want this kind of nonsense on your holiday.

Rainy weather didn’t stop us from having a cozy, wonderful stay in Czesky Krumlov. Our room was warm and tidy, and the river view was lovely and relaxing. Iren was a hospitable host who suggested places to exchange cash and dine. We even got a free upgrade from the attic to a room with a nice balcony. I highly recommend staying here.

The hosts were wonderful, the amenities and rooms were great, and the location was amazing. It was a perfect stay, and we can’t wait to return with family. Thanks Pavel!

We had a very bad experience with what could have been a great stay. There were hidden fees, for example, using the room couch costs 30 euros per day. The place also wasn’t child friendly at all, despite what their terms say.
