The surroundings are lovely, but I wouldn't recommend staying here with children or as a woman travelling alone. The manager came across as threatening and had no people skills. He was very rude and unhelpful, nasty to children, and aggressive toward women.

I stumbled across this place by accident and was glad I did. A real hidden gem: friendly staff and a great stay. I'd happily come back. Thank you 😊

The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, and the rooms have kitchens and are fully furnished. The place itself is nice, but we got no useful help from the man at reception. He wouldn't give us proper information about the facility because he'd already shared it with one person in our group. When we checked out on Sunday, he didn't even bother to get up. His attitude toward guests was completely unacceptable.

The wooded grounds are serene and lovely for a walk or some time relaxing. DKS stands for something like the home of peaceful aging, and some apartments are occupied long-term by older adults, though plenty are still available to rent. There are plenty of surprises here, so it's better to experience them yourself than keep reading. The common building has a pool, ping pong, foosball, and self-serve Krusovice beer on tap for 35 CZK per half liter. There's free laundry too. It's a little island of calm beside a busy industrial town, with modern, comfortable, quiet, convenient accommodation that's very well kept.
