I came for the food, and the pork steak with cranberries on the menu is one I'd recommend.
It was okay overall, though the room was small and pretty noisy.
The rate for one night was 800 CZK for me, my dog, a room with a bathroom, and breakfast. The room had a few worn details: the carpet was very tired, the ceiling light had no shade, and I couldn't find a glass. Still, the sheets and towels were perfectly clean and white, and there was a little fridge. For the price, I'd give it five stars. Parking is right outside the hotel, beside the restaurant's shaded summer terrace. The service was quick and pleasant, and dogs are welcome. A Vietnamese chef runs the kitchen, so the menu includes both Vietnamese and Czech dishes. The Vietnamese food is adapted quite a bit to Czech tastes, which is a bit of a shame. The NEM RAN, spring rolls with pork, shrimp, vegetables, and rice noodles, was well prepared and not spicy. Its tasty dip came on the plate, so I moved it to the table where I think it belongs. The caramelized pork belly with Asian-style eggs and jasmine rice was a generous serving on a big plate. The pork came in chunks like a Moravian sparrow rather than thin slices, with a thick, tasty sauce. Breakfast was a large, very tasty portion of scrambled eggs with pastries and butter. Don't expect a culinary feast, but the portions are hearty and the food is well prepared and tasty.
