Our daughters especially loved getting to ride horses during our spontaneous little holiday. We were happy with the local hospitality, too. The room had underfloor heating and felt very comfortable, with all the basics provided, though there was no soap in the bathroom 🙃. It's a safe place with a lovely countryside feel. We'll visit again 👌

We booked half board, and the evening meals were out of this world: traditional Czech dishes made with care. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially given that I don't speak Czech. German and English were available. Our rooms, a suite and a double, were good. The beds were okay, a bit hard, but that actually helped my back. Horse fans would have an ideal holiday here. It's close to Karlovy, so you don't need to pay over the top to visit.

I only went for an hour-long ride around the lake and it was fabulous. I didn't use the rooms. Thanks again, Helena and Christina. Had an amazing time.

A lovely spot to visit with kids, with horse and pony rides. Call ahead to reserve a riding time. You can bring carrots or apples, but check with the staff before feeding the horses. There's also a nearby pond for swimming when the weather is nice. The water is clean and not very deep.

The staff seemed a little sleepy and unprepared for guests. We had to remind them several times about the food we'd ordered. They were all hanging out outside and didn't seem to pay much attention to guests.
