The restaurant serves decent meals, and the staff are really friendly. You can also try craft beer from the hotel’s own little brewery, which is a nice extra. It’s a tidy, pleasant hotel in a tiny village by a small lake, with fresh air, woods nearby, and a peaceful feel. The rooms and the place have what you’d expect from a modern hotel in the countryside, with no hassle or stress.

The waiters were really nice, breakfast was good, and lunch and dinner service was quick. But the room was a mess when we arrived, and looking under the bed put me off sleeping there. We’d asked for a quiet room and had that confirmed when booking, yet ours was probably the noisiest in the hotel, right over the bar and terrace. They were loud day and night, and with it around 30 degrees outside, having the windows open wasn’t great. When I asked again for the quiet room we’d agreed on, I was told it was the only one available. There was no cleaning during our stay either. We also left a jacket behind and offered to cover all delivery costs to have it sent to us, but the hotel asked us to collect it in person. Very strange customer service, especially for someone living on the other side of the Czech Republic.

Good food and nice beer brewed here. It’s a comfortable, relaxed place with lovely scenery around it. If you’re into cycling, walking, or similar activities, it’s worth a visit.

There’s now tasty beer brewed on site, and the new bathrooms are really nice. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and this hotel seems to improve every year.
