Apartmány ROSE Lednice

We stumbled across these apartments and are really glad we did. Everything feels new, lovely, and spacious. The air conditioning actually works, the washing machine washes, and the wipers wipe 🤭. We'll be glad to come back regularly. One pretty big issue, though: the mattresses in building B, room 7 sag badly. If your back gives you trouble, I'd sleep on the floor. Keeping the window open is almost impossible too, because of the busy road right next door.

Check-in went well, and the parking, pool, and surroundings were great. The basement apartment itself was very nice, but the toilet pump was terribly loud even during the day and awful at night. The bed really needs replacing, which is a shame given that the other amenities were fine. I'd recommend staying here, just in a different apartment.

This is a handy base for trips, with the Lednice-Valtice area only a few minutes' walk away via the local spa colonnade. The accommodation is split between two buildings on one plot, each with several smaller apartments, and some have terraces. They are nicely equipped, including air conditioning.

The apartments themselves are new and clean, but that's about the only good thing I can say. After booking, we were told to collect the keys at the hotel reception in Breclav. We also learned everything had to be paid in advance and that there was no service at the apartment, with everything handled through that reception. When we arrived, parts of the grounds were basically a construction site and very dusty. The tables, chairs, and loungers were filthy, and nobody cleaned them. The trampoline had no safety net. We had a small child with us, so we reported it to reception, but they said there wasn't a net and told us not to let our son use it. The access and service were very poor. We won't come back. Better look elsewhere. AP
