The wooden buildings still feel almost new, with the design running from the ground right up to the roof. The owner was very kind, and there was a good range of breakfast choices. There’s no lunch or dinner available, though Lednice and nearby places have plenty of options. A well-balanced choice for a stay in Lednice.

The food was so fresh and delicious, especially the pork chop with green pepper sauce, potatoes, bacon, and spring onions. Service was excellent too!

There are stands for plenty of bikes, so it’s a handy stop for cyclists, and kids can climb there too. The restaurant is close to the side entrance to the Lednice park, with seating inside and out. Staff were kind and polite. The food was good, though the menu wasn’t very wide. I preferred that to a restaurant offering hundreds of choices.

We waited about 20 minutes, and no one greeted or welcomed us. The only time the waiter came over was to collect a used beer glass and a plate left by the previous customer. The table wasn’t cleaned. On top of that, Prague prices. We left and won’t come back. A really poor example of Czech gastronomy.

The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Food was average, while the local wines are worth trying and buying. A decent overnight stop on the way from Poland to southern Europe.
