My room was small, but it worked fine for a short stay, and everything was very clean. The décor looked a little worn, and the room felt a bit like a cave because there wasn't much natural light. Still, with reasonable prices, lovely staff and breakfast included, it was very good value.

Before heading on to Valtice, we stopped for a draft beer in the spacious front garden around the fountain. It was a pleasant end to our cycling trip through the Lednice-Valtice area. We were there out of season, so hardly anyone else was around in the early evening. Great!

My experience ended when I tried to book. I wanted a room for a weekend in April, but was told reception closes by 8 pm and there was no other way to get the key. For a Friday evening arrival, that seems to assume people don't work Friday afternoons. Very poor consideration for guests.

The breakfast was generous, the rooms were clean, and service was good. Parking was the one drawback, since there aren't many spaces.

Great central spot, with a clean room and a wonderful breakfast.
