The location is handy, just a short walk from the castle, and we could park in the courtyard. But the walls seem to be there only to keep you from seeing the neighbors. The children next door shouted at each other all day, and there was a strange smell in the room. The little fridge was freezing cold, but it had no shelves in the door or at the bottom, so hardly anything would fit. The bed was very hard, and the pillow was well past its best. There was a coffee machine in the shared kitchen, though the coffee smelled awful, maybe the machine needed attention. Communication with the accommodation was also a bit poor. When I got the email with the instructions, I asked whether we could arrive early to park, but nobody replied. The instructions themselves were confusing too. We'll stay somewhere else next time.

With temperatures at 33 degrees Celsius, we were very glad the guesthouse had air conditioning. We only needed somewhere to sleep for one night in Lednice, and chose it after reading the reviews. It's in a convenient spot near the castle, with parking in the courtyard so you don't have to worry about your car. The furnishings are fairly modest, but everything was clean and worked, and the service was attentive. This isn't the place for luxury, but for comfort at a good price, it fit what we wanted. The area gets lively in the evening, and there was a burger bar just below the guesthouse that looked tempting. We were there for local beer, though, so we went to the brewery, which I'd recommend too. Thanks to Mrs. Machová for being so kind, and I hope you get only decent guests.
