There was plenty to enjoy outside, including the pool, a garden dining area, and a lovely fire pit. We were sent a video with the house tour and all the details a little less than a week before leaving, and the host was very friendly. My only issue was the kitchen table, which was too small for 20 people. We managed by using the garden room, but that could be tricky if it rains. It’s a wonderful holiday villa, and definitely worth visiting again. We’re fans!

The large garden, playground, and pool were a dream for the children, and they even provided firewood for a cozy campfire. The area is beautiful and affordable, with lovely outings available on foot, by bike, or by car. We were five families and very happy with the stay. The house was well equipped, and the landlord communicated very well, stayed available throughout, and gave us helpful excursion tips. We’d been a bit wary after some negative reviews about extra charges, but the billing was clear, understandable, and fair.

We had an unpleasant end to our stay, and I don’t recommend the place because of the owner’s behavior. He suggested we wouldn’t pay the extra fee because he was late to pick up the chalet and nobody was there. He also immediately implied we’d stolen skis from his rental, even though it was Sunday, three people had just skied before leaving, and all the other rental skis had been returned. The person handling the billing didn’t answer for half an hour because he was driving, so the owner suggested we wouldn’t pay the additional gas and electricity charges. Another person in our group did answer and spoke normally, confirming we’d pay by bank transfer once the owner sent photos of the meters. When the skiers came to collect their forgotten things, the owner twice stood in front of the car’s hood and demanded cash. Then he said he’d recorded it and would report us to the authorities. He also complained that we’d left a mess because the trash hadn’t been taken out and there was sand on the carpets in one room and the hallway from people coming in from outside, even though the cleaning fee is included in the rental price. During our four-day stay, he couldn’t get the Wi-Fi working. The location was okay, about a 5-minute drive from the ski slope. There weren’t enough parking spaces for a house meant to sleep 18 people. The rooms weren’t especially well appointed, though everything was maintained well.

The spacious house and attractive location didn’t make up for the problems we had. Parking was difficult because the lot was too small, and the beds weren’t comfortable. There weren’t enough towels, and the WiFi was unreliable. We also struggled to get basic amenities. The owner’s conduct at the end was the worst part: delays, accusations of attempted fraud that we felt were unfounded, and unnecessary threats involving violence and the police made our last day tense and unpleasant. The utility charges also came as a surprise and seemed excessive, with no clear arrangement beforehand. There were logistical issues throughout, but the owner’s behavior was the main reason the stay fell short.

The house itself was spacious and well equipped, and the stay had been very pleasant until the end. Then the owner got aggressive, shouting as he walked around about sand on the hallway floor and trying to snatch things from my hands. For some reason, he decided we wouldn’t pay the electricity, gas, and cleaning bills. I don’t know why he thought that, since it was 30 złoty per person. We said we had no cash and that the guy in our group handling the bills would transfer it right away, but he refused and shouted that he was going to the police. As we tried to get away from these crazy people, he blocked our car with his body and threw himself onto the hood so we couldn’t leave. My young daughter was there and terrified. I’ve never met people like these in my life, and I wouldn’t recommend the place because of the owners. Stay as far away from them as possible.
