The food is pretty good, and the place is close to the skibus. But the rooms feel like they’re from the PRL, and the shower keeps switching between hot and cold.

The shower swung between scalding and freezing, and the bathroom could use work. The room itself was clean, with a reasonably comfortable bed, though the decor feels stuck in the 1980s and needs freshening up. Breakfast was a standard buffet. Dinner was hit or miss, and refreshments cost extra. Still, the location works well as a base, with the free skibus picking up and dropping off right outside the hotel.

The location is probably the one thing this place has going for it. The Czech food was disgusting, the worst I’ve had in 15 years. Service in the canteen was only slightly better than at reception, and for the price, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I arrived for my booking on November 5th and found the place closed. Nobody picked up when I called, and after waiting outside for half an hour I booked another hotel. Now I’m trying to get my money back!
