The garden shown in the photos can't be used, so there's nowhere for a child to play. The rooms are very dark, even in summer, and need lights on at midday. You can only shower, since the bath can't be filled, and the couch isn't very comfortable. The cupboards smelled a little musty, probably from winter damp. Summer is fine, but I can't picture staying here in autumn or winter. I wouldn't recommend it for children. 😐

The stay was basically okay, and the accommodation is well located and decorated with care. But the listing left out important details, and the photos give a misleading impression. There's no parking at the property. You're directed to a public side street instead. The owner teaches piano and gives lessons early in the morning, which can be annoying and wasn't mentioned beforehand. The bed linen smelled musty, and the garden shown repeatedly in the photos is fenced off as private property and can't be used. The corner bath can't be used as a bath because its drain has been removed, so it only works as a shower. There was also a €100 deposit for possible damage that hadn't been disclosed. The description said there'd be an oven, but what we found was a wine cooler. The promised toaster and coffee maker were missing too. Some dishes in the cupboard were dirty, a few downright filthy, and the place was quite dark during the day.

The rental was being renovated, with chemical smells and machine noise.
