There was no privacy in the garden, with lots of neighbors around and everyone able to see you. The cottage fridge didn't work, and the WiFi and TV kept losing signal. The kitchen and dining table were greasy, and there wasn't a single towel, even though towels should be included. The shower swung from lukewarm to boiling and then ice cold. For grilling, there was only a fire pit, no forks or seating, despite the photo showing two benches. I wouldn't recommend this cottage.

The hot water boiler was leaking badly, and the boat that was meant to be available wasn't on the water. We told the travel agency, but nothing was done. I definitely wouldn't recommend this cottage to anyone. 👎👎👎

The cottage was cozy and warm even in autumn, though it isn't wheelchair accessible. We were there in September and were really happy with it. The water is close by, so we went fishing, and when the fish weren't biting we had a great time mushroom picking in the lovely local forests. There are plenty of cycle paths, and you can rent bikes and scooters, including electric ones. In summer the sandy beaches must be great for swimming, while in winter there's a nearby ski resort. About 12 km from the cottage, there's a treetop trail I'd recommend, as well as a magical forest for kids. The nearest ferry is in Frynburk and can take you to Lipno.
