The ribs were really good, but the pork with mushroom sauce tasted like it had Maggi instant gravy, which I didn’t enjoy. The frustrating part is that they only accept cash, but there’s no mention of that on the menu or elsewhere. They’ll take euros, though at about a 10% markup over the official rate. Czech crowns are pegged to the euro once a year, so the exchange rate doesn’t fluctuate...

There’s plenty of food to choose from, the steaks are very good, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Best restaurant in Frymburk!

I wouldn’t recommend it. The quality didn’t justify the price, and they don’t take cards either. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh. The hamburger bun and “houska” were clearly several days old, while the meat was so heavily seasoned that its own flavor was completely covered up. The sauce tasted like it had too much flour. The pizza looked like a cheap store-bought one, just baked on site.

I’d left a bad review before and said I wouldn’t return, but two years later I came back with a group. The place had improved. The food was good, and so was the beer. Just bring cash, since they don’t accept cards.
