The town is close enough to other well-known cities that you can use the hotel as a base for a longer stay and travel around. The restaurant food is tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast is fine if you get there early, but later on there may only be what other guests have left. The rooms aren't cleaned daily, and towels are changed only sometimes. The hotel is inexpensive, so I wouldn't expect top quality at that price.

For a very affordable stay, the rooms were clean and worked fine. I wasn't keen on the very soft bed. Coffee is instant, and the TV has thirty-something channels, all in Czech.

There's a grocery store around the corner, though most shops shut early, around 18:00 or 19:00. Food is served daily, mostly pizza, chicken, and pork. The rooms were neat and clean. Staff don't speak much English, but they can write it. Payment is cash only, in Czech Koruna or Euros, and there's a bank or ATM two doors down. Taxis aren't common in this small village, but staff can call one from the next town. It's a nice hotel.

We'd booked a room for two in December and had already paid for both of us. When we arrived, we were told the booking was for one person and had to pay an extra 11€ for the second. The amount wasn't much, but the charge was completely unexpected.
