Helena Harrachov

The price was very favorable, and the value for money is well above average. The apartment is on the third floor, has been renovated, and was nice and clean. There's an elevator, plus a parking space in front reserved for the apartment. It’s quiet, Norma is a few minutes away on foot, and the center of Harrachov is nearby. Inside, we had a double bed and a bunk bed whose lower bunk is a three-quarter bed, so a family of five could theoretically fit. Unlike a hotel room, there’s a living room and plenty of practical equipment: a kitchen with a stove, dishwasher and microwave, a large No Frost fridge with freezer, and a bathroom with a washer and dryer. The owner had even left toys for our little one. The only thing we missed was an oven, but we managed without one.

Everything felt thought through, from the first aid kit and slippers to toys for children. The owner was helpful and answered questions quickly. The apartment is newly furnished, clean, cozy, and had all we needed. I would have liked a coffee maker, or at least a kettle for making coffee, but we got by, and there's a great cafe just a few steps away. It was wonderfully quiet inside, with no sound of cars or neighbors. Shops, a restaurant, a brewery, the bobsleigh track, and bus stops are all close. The ski area is a long walk, so taking the bus with your gear is probably best. There's also a sauna in the apartment, which is lovely after skiing. I'm a demanding guest, and I recommend it.

Our children, aged 2 and 5, loved their stay, and we never ran out of things to do. It's a great location, close to everything, and the apartment has its own parking space. The owner was very kind and helped us with everything. The place is beautiful, clean, and comfortably equipped, including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer, and infrared sauna. We had a stay that exceeded our expectations and would happily return. A trip to Poland for the dinopark or thermal baths is worth considering.

For a week of summer vacation, the Helena apartment was a lovely base for short or longer walks. The playground and bobsleigh track for children are right next door, and it stays quiet at night. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the newly renovated apartment was, and the infrared sauna was great. The little welcome touches were nice too, including a first aid kit, slippers, and candies with sparkling wine. Communication with the owner was fine. We'll be glad to recommend it to friends.
