The place looks comfortable, but the service was unbelievable. We came in for soup, and the waitress started cursing at us, saying she was a person too and needed a break to eat. She kept talking, so we just left. We were potential customers, but she treated us like parasites. We stayed polite and walked away quietly without a fight. If this is how restaurant customers are treated, I doubt the hotel service is much better.

The service at Pension Rotunda was really kind and nice, but I’d warn people not to rent ski equipment there. We got no advice, and the young man working there seemed to have no idea what he was doing. Try the place across the street instead, where the prices and service are much better.

We stayed at Rotunda years ago. It isn’t luxurious, but it’s very cozy, with a fantastic view over the valley and its fun activities. It’s right in the center, close to all the shops, and the service was great. Years later we came back just to eat, and the schnitzels are the best in the area. We ordered several different dishes from the menu during the week, and everything was delicious. The lady was very friendly, so we enjoyed spending several evenings there. It’s our favorite restaurant around.

We only used the bar, not the rooms. It felt like time had stopped there, and the bar area didn’t look as if it had been tidied for ages. The staff seemed a bit lazy, and you can’t pay by card!
