Breakfast runs from 8 to 10 a.m. Everyone gets cheeses, cold cuts and vegetables, plus butter, jam, processed cheese, pâté, yoghurt, sweet pastries and a basket of pastries. You can serve yourself milk and cereal, and the landlord is open to requests, such as plain yoghurt instead of flavoured. There are plenty of facilities around the property: Wi-Fi, a gym, infrared sauna, jacuzzi, billiards and board games, plus a common room with X-BOX and TV. The courtyard has outdoor seating, and there's a fully equipped kitchen, though during the current situation only the microwave can be used. Drinks are available to buy from a stocked refrigerator. Parking in front of the building is free, and guests can rent a Mercedes convertible. We were also given a bottle of wine from a local winemaker for our stay. The rooms are modern, right by the Austrian border, and come with a private bathroom and separate toilet. Ours had remote controlled air conditioning, TV, wine cellar, coffee maker, hairdryer, shoehorn, umbrella, bathrobes and sewing supplies. In the bathroom there was a soap dispenser and, probably, a dispenser in the shower with a 2in1 shampoo and shower gel. One small downside was the road right outside the window, along with the neighbour's dog barking constantly.

The host was what I liked most. He puts his heart into the place, and even with a 60km early commute every day to make breakfast, he doesn't lose his temper. I had a great chat with him. The accommodation has a lot to offer, including designer rooms with air conditioning, a large stylish bathroom, fitness room, billiards, jacuzzi, X-box, wine cellar, chilled drinks and an espresso machine. WiFi coverage was stable across the resort. There are great bike paths nearby. Bikes are free to rent, while powerful electric scooters (motorbikes) and a Mercedes convertible are available for an extra fee. The only small thing I'd suggest is offering yoghurt or some fruit with breakfast next time. There was so much to discover in the area that I couldn't find time to enjoy all the luxury and amenities at STAR HOUSE. Good luck, Mr. Host, and wishing you good health!

The owner made delicious, generous breakfasts and was around for most of the day. He also gave us ideas for trips and recommended restaurants nearby. We stayed in a roomy apartment with a nicely equipped kitchenette, and everything was new and clean. The facilities were above standard, with billiards, bike rental and a jacuzzi available around the clock. It's close to the cycle path. We had a wonderful family holiday and will be glad to come back. Thank you :)

We booked three nights through Slevomat and were very happy with our stay. The owner was friendly, easy to talk to and helpful. Breakfast was simple, as you'd expect at a guesthouse rather than a big hotel, but it changed from day to day, and we could discuss individual requests with the owner. The place was lovely and clean, with a games room featuring Xbox, billiards and some board games. Outside there was a jacuzzi and seating, plus a small fitness room with an infrared sauna. We enjoyed our visit and recommend it.

A week here was wonderful, and we'll definitely return. The VIP accommodation with a balcony (terrace) went beyond what we expected, with modern furnishings and tasteful accessories throughout. The owners were happy to handle even unusual requests, and you could easily stay here for a month and still be satisfied. The staff were unbeatable. Five stars aren't enough. Thank you!
